Pregnancy update

I have not been doing well with writing in a journal about my pregnancy so I figured what better time than  now to keep track of whats been happening, so I can look back on it later?

I am currently 25 weeks! It has gone by quickly since I have been in the 2nd trimester. I would sum up the first trimester as, about 6 weeks of all day nausea (but no vomiting), feeling exhausted, and constantly thinking, "Am I really, really pregnant?" "Oh wow, I really AM pregnant!" "I hope everything is ok in there!!" I got to have an early ultrasound to figure out how far along I was, and also got to hear the heartbeat. It still hadn't really sunk in though.

This second trimester started with wondering when I would show. I thought about it alot, because I would hear constant comments from people as to whether I was, wasn't, or what they thought of how I looked/size. I am happy that now I have a definite belly. It may not be big, but most people know for sure I am pregnant. This has brought on some weirdo strangers asking questions, but it really doesn't bother me.

We found out it was a GIRL at our 19 week ultrasound on our anniversary, which was pretty cool. We had a little get together with our families to share the news which was fun. (Maybe I'll add pics later?) We picked her name, Georgia Shereé. I could not believe I was going to have a daughter! I really though it was a boy! I laughed/cried for like 30 minutes because I thought it was so funny/exciting.

I don't have too many symptoms at this point. Some are embarassing (i.e. sweating and other fun things), but not too much of a hassle. I have had leg/feet cramps, but not sure if that is pregnancy related or from the heat. I wasn't sleeping very well, but recently devised a pillow arrangement that helped, and figured out solutions for Eric's snoring. My back hurts a little sometimes, but all in all I feel great. No swelling. No nausea. Good energy. I think I have jinxed myself and I'm gonna fall apart soon. Let's hope not!

I have gained about 15 pounds at this point. I seem on track I think, so hoping I can stay in the range they recommend (25 - 35 lbs). It's all for a good reason, so I'm not bothered by it.

I'm getting more and more excited for Georgia to come, especially with her moving around so much these days. I am enjoying pregnancy to this point, so hopefully if I check in gaain, I'll feel the same!
