So, today is my last day at CSH
. My boss isn't here, so it kinda
feels weird that it be my last day...but weird in a GREAT way! I am so ready to be done with this practicum! Things I have learned: ther are many kinds of hallucinations/delusions, psychotic people aren't always scary, it's best to make friends with the people who will help you out if you were to get attacked (nurses and MHTs), karaoke in an inpatient hospital is AWESOME, talking about being suicidal and homicidal doesn'thave to be awkward. I can't believe that from now on I will get paid for the work I do. I don't know what St. Louis has in store for me (haven't heard what my rotations will be yet), but I am SO excited to get into the field I want to be in (health psychology). I have missed doing therapy this year (inpatient psych is a lot different). I have missed supervision. I hope I will have at least one supervisor next year that I can look to like a mentor! Now checklist to get on before I start workin
in St. Louis (August 27th):
